This BSP pipe is self colouring meaning it has not been treated so will rust and change colour to the environment its in. Why not speed up the rust process and leave it in salty water outside for a while.
This black malleable tubing has a 1/2" BSP thread - please be aware that 1/2" BSP (British Standard Pipe) is in fact 20.9mm in diameter and not 1/2" imperial.
