No tools are required for installation as this lampholder has 2 spikes that will pierce the cable.
It does not matter which way around it goes as polarity on an E27 lampholder is not required anymore.
This lampholder is weatherproof at IP44, please ensure you install this lampholder to the spec of IP44 if in doubt contact a qualified electrician.
The lampholder can be removed and placed anywhere onto the cable with ease.
