The Surface Push to Break Door Switch | Black is a surface mounting door contact switch, perfect for sliding and standard opening doors. 

There are 2 types of switch:

• Push to Make - meaning the switch is off all the time until it is pressed then it will make the electrical circuit.
• Push to Break - meaning the switch is on all the time until it is pressed then it will break the electrical circuit.

This is a Push to Break Switch - This is the most popular type as it is perfect for putting lights inside cupboards as when the door is open the light will come on and when the door is shut it will break the circuit (light will turn off).

Suitable for all door types including sliding doors.
